Amalgamation & Capital

Today we travel to the mining district in the Mojave desert. The White & Sidney mine lies 100 miles north of Los Angeles in the Rand Mountains. My partner and I try and turn a dollar the same way the old timers did 120 years ago. Our mine is a 20.66 acre lode claim first worked July 14th 1900. the whole process works as follows.
1. Get the ore from the vein with demo hammers.
2. Bring back the material to the jaw crusher/rollers to be crushed into fine powder.
3. Run the material on the shaker table to give us our concentrates.
4. Mix the concentrates in a gold pan with mercury, which soaks up the gold like a sponge.
5. Burn off the sponge into a poisonous gas that we then recapture using a device known as a retort.
6. The gold powder is then heated in a crucible to 1100°C/2012 °F
